Brief Project Summary:

Stink bugs and other insects have the potential of reducing the yield of soybeans. This project will evaluate the integrated pest management (IBM) strategies used by soybean growers in the Coastal Bend of Texas and help determine the best management strategies of soybean production in Texas. Field studies will be monitored for insect pest and applied research projects will be conducted on pest insects found and topics of grower interest. The result of the studies and field scouting will be conveyed to soybean growers through newsletters and grower meetings.
