Information And Results
Final Project Results

• Achieving the objectives
- New sources of soybean aphid resistance were identified
- SNP markers associated with these sources of resistance were determined
- Crosses among the sources of resistance with adapted soybean germplasm lines were completed
- Genotyping of F2 lines from a cross to combine multiple sources of aphid resistance was completed
- Preliminary analysis of mapping showed aphid resistance QTL on two chromosomes closely related to previously described genes, and a third significant QTL previously undescribed.

• Not achieving the objectives
- The PI for this project left SDSU and the project was eventually picked up by another PI
- Delays due to this change have resulted in significant delays in the project
- This project was not renewed for FY15

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
