Brief Project Summary:

This continuing program involves developing, advertising and implementing a Wisconsin soybean yield contest. The goal of this project is to annually recognize and reward the top dry-land and irrigated soybean producers in Wisconsin.

In 2012, 43 fields were entered in the contest with 26 entries completing the contest. Yields of the completed entries ranged from 43.18 to 82.61 bushels per acre. The sponsors were pleased that the contest continued to support the grower education network that allowed growers to learn from the winners and improve their productivity.
