Grant funds provided partial salary support for technical support to the state soybean specialist, with all funds used before December 31, 2020. Mr. Andrew Denton, research technician, assisted with the planting and maintenance of replicated trials at the Research and Education centers (REC) as well as involvement in on-farm research. He was directly involved in several soybean research projects at the RECs including biomass management and planter attachments for successful planting into cover crops, maturity group evaluations, poultry litter application to soybean and an investigation of cover crops as part of the GoBeans (Extension on-farm) project. Drew planted and maintained multiple small plot and on-farm studies, assisting with collection of over 1,500 pieces of data in replicated plots at university research and education centers in Jackson and Milan, TN. Drew provided training and guidance to two summer student interns and continued to maintain, utilize and haul plot demonstration equipment in a safe and effective manner.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
