What will the weather be? What is the weather like right now? This are common, critical questions from farmers. In-depth, real-time weather data provides valuable insight for countless crop management decisions, like when to plant, spray or harvest. As of June 2021, the University of Georgia Weather Network has served Georgia farmers for 30 years. For many of these years, this network has depended on soy checkoff and other funding to help maintain its services. The network has grown to include 86 identical weather stations throughout Georgia, primarily in agricultural areas.
