Brief Project Summary:

Soybean producers need higher crop yields to overcome rising input costs. This project aims to improve soybean production practices in Indiana by using field surveys and on-farm verification of best management practices (BPMs). The overall goal of the project is to protect and enhance soybean yields by improving and refining current production practices. The identification of yield-limiting factors within specific regions of Indiana will shape the Extension and research blueprint for the future. The key to adoption of BMPs that impact soybean yield and profitability is persuasion and the research team plans to use on-farm verification over the course of the next few years for that purpose....

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
