Brief Project Summary:

Weed populations expressing resistance to glyphosate and other herbicides have become more widely spread in soybean production systems and in some cases very difficult to manage in this system in Indiana. Common waterhemp, giant ragweed, horseweed, and morning glory are commonly found weeds in soybean systems of Indiana. No-till production systems and the repeated use of the same or similar herbicides (glyphosate) have led to herbicide resistance in these weed species.

Previous researchers have shown the presence of resistant common waterhemp, giant ragweed, and horseweed in surrounding states and in some parts of Indiana. However little is known about the distribution of these resistant...

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
