Brief Project Summary:

The long-term goal of this project is to increase the profitability of soybean production and enhance utilization by increasing oil and protein levels of soybean lines with equal or better yields compared to the check cultivars. The fatty acid and amino acid compositions of the protein and oil will be measured and only those germplasm lines with favorable profiles will be moved forward. Further increases in oil and protein production will be pursued and combined with low phytate and low oligosaccharide beans.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
