Brief Project Summary:

Objective I. Pest populations continue to change as new invasive species are introduced and as established species adapt to changes in climate and management efforts by growers. Long-term data on pest populations and incidence of diseases are important to understanding yield fluctuations, to identify new risks and to help direct future research on pest management and breeding. This project explores methods for tracking soybean pest populations over time using sentinel plots at five University of Minnesota Research and Outreach Centers (ROC).
