This proposal addresses grower-assessed priority area #2, “Soybean Diseases and Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN) Management”, as described in the new production RFP. It focuses on the “need for research into managing against yield and quality-limiting effects of root and/or stem rots”, as well as interactions among diseases. It also addresses the importance of research and technology transfer focusing on optimizing soybean yields.
This proposed work focuses on white mold, sudden death syndrome (SDS) and other roots rots, and technology transfer of research and management information for soybean production via extension programs. These diseases are significant production problems...
