Project Summary

The goal of this research is to develop elite soybean lines with improved resistance to Phytophthora sojae, the pathogen that causes Phytophthora root rot.

Project Objectives

1. Generate molecular marker for Rps9.
2. Backcross Rps9 into elite soybean lines.
3. Identify candidate Rps9 genes.
